The Catalytic Impact Foundation(CIF) advances breakthrough solutions in health and life sciences through catalytic capital, strategic partnerships, and hands-on support for mission-driven innovation.

Fiscal sponsorship is one of the ways we help aligned projects move faster—by enabling charitable giving, ensuring responsible stewardship, and supporting work that advances shared impact goals.

Instructions:

  • When you donate through CIF on behalf of a fiscally sponsored project:

    • Your contribution is tax-deductible

    • Funds are restricted for the designated project

    • CIF ensures funds are used in compliance with nonprofit regulations

  • CIF partners with mission-aligned projects to enable tax-deductible giving to accelerate impact—without requiring a standalone nonprofit.

    Under a fiscal sponsorship agreement, donations are made through CIF and designated for an approved project, being carried out by another organization, that has social benefit and aligns with CIF’s mission. We provide financial oversight and nonprofit compliance, while project teams lead the work and outcomes.

    We sponsor:

    • Early-stage initiatives preparing for nonprofit formation

    • Organizations advancing charitable work without 501(c)(3) status

    • For-profit teams running clearly defined, mission-driven projects

    Fiscal sponsorship allows strong ideas to move forward responsibly, with the right structure in place.

    We prioritize projects driving measurable progress in areas such as children’s health, women’s health, brain and mental health, rare disease, aging, and health equity—and that use charitable funding solely to support public benefit.
